Just finished this first workshop on how to make canes, and I must say I learned so much. This is exactly what I have been looking for, someone who could explain cane making in a step by step that process that I could replicate. I watched the videos, went into my studio and began to create all of the canes Alice showed. I finally have results I can be proud of, and I say thank you so much for doing this workshop. My only question now is when do we get more workshops. If you are only going to take one online class let it be this workshop. The new link you provided worked (Realplayer update). I liked this video. Good job. The bracelets look much different on an arm. They come to life. I found it interesting that you construct your face canes differently that B McGuire. I didn’t know there were different ways. I have never made one. I am afraid to try! I am not a very spatially oriented gal.

I’m glad the link worked. Yes I make my face cane a different way than Barbara. I took a class from her and enjoyed it very much, but I’ve gone back to my way and some more experimenting.
I am interested in your face cane video. does it also show front faceing?
Hi Joslin, It doesn’t show the full face just the profile. I don’t know when I’ll be doing the full face. It does however, have a a pdf with full directions to go with the 40 minute video. Thanks for asking.
