I love this black and white “story” bracelet, it makes me laugh. This cat is NOT a happy kitty. It seems the mice are having way too much fun.

Just finished this first workshop on how to make canes, and I must say I learned so much. This is exactly what I have been looking for, someone who could explain cane making in a step by step that process that I could replicate. I watched the videos, went into my studio and began to create all of the canes Alice showed. I finally have results I can be proud of, and I say thank you so much for doing this workshop. My only question now is when do we get more workshops. If you are only going to take one online class let it be this workshop. Thank you Alice for your hard work, and your dedication to helping others learn the joys of polymer clay.

I love that cat and the mice are cute too. I have a cat. He’s 20 years old and would probably have a heart attack if he ever saw a mouse.
Very very cute.
I see you are going to Georgia to do a class at Barbara Maguires. Wish that wasn’t so far away. I would be there in a flash.
Bonnie, thanks, I loved the joke too. Take care of the cat, i know his probavly specail and can do all kinds of amazing things, lol.
I wish you could be at the class too, we’re going to have a great time.
🙂
Hi Alice, I love your new bracelet. I love cats and the bracelet is soooo cute. Looking forward to seeing you at Fandango.
Your cat and mice illustration is cute! Drawing on polymer is intimidating to me – no natural artistic talent as you have.
Good to hear from you Karen, I wish I could be at Fandango this year, but I just am not able to make it. I’m still hoping that maybe, just maybe I could run up there on Saturday for the day to see everyone, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. I”m going to miss seeing everyone.
Deborah, I understand, but the great thing about the clay is that you can sand it off and start over again. Or just make some graphic designs and fill in with color. I think you’d be surprised at what you can do.
Alice, that’s good – I thought there was no room for error once the drawing was on the polymer.
Deborah, I’m correcting my work all the time…as I go. If I couldn’t, I wouldn’t be able to create any of these pieces. It’s actually easier to correct on polymer than some other forms of drawing.
