I was making a Stroppel Cane with red, black and white cane scraps and ended up with a cane that looked like butterfly wings. I used a few slices to create the butterfly and then added other cane slices and made the slide above.
Then I finally got around to covering the knobs in my pink bathroom with black and white jelly rolls. They aren’t very complicated but with the black and white check countertop, I didn’t need anything very complicated. I still love my crazy bathroom.
I’m still creating samples for my scuplting class and having a great time.
I love your crazy bathroom!
Your knobs look great. Would love a close up of character sitting on the counter….looks interesting.
Not long now until your sculpture class …. am afraid my sculpture may not look like a foot or hand but will give it a try.
Thanks Mary Kaye, it makes me smile everytime I walk in there.
Linda, I can’t wait for our class. The figure is a hand mirror made by an online friend in a trade. She’s really a riot, I love her. There’s a couple of picture on my Flickr site. http://www.flickr.com/photos/alicestroppel/5535517452/in/set-72157625989423780
Crazy bathroom? What a lovely way to start the day Alice! Love the way the butterfly came out! I woke up this morning with yet another way of using your Stroppel cane… will see if it works
Oh good Chris, can’t wait to see your new twist. This bathroom is in my studio and it was already screaming pink, I just added the black and white everything. Makes me laugh everyday.
wow, i’d love to go to this bathroom, or better, have one like this in my place!!
