Polymer Clay Canes for Beginners

27 videos, step by step, beginner cane workshop beginner Cane Tutorial What people are saying about this tutorial. jennifer rose Just finished this first workshop on how to make canes, and I must say I learned so much. This is exactly what I have been looking for, someone who could explain cane making in a step by step that process that I could replicate. I watched the videos, went into my studio and began to create all of the canes Alice showed. I finally have results I can be proud of, and I say thank you so much for doing this workshop. My only question now is when do we get more workshops. If you are only going to take one online class let it be this workshop. Thank you Alice for your hard work, and your dedication to helping others learn the joys of polymer clay.

Teaching Classes at Highlands Art League in Sebring, FL

I’m delighted to be starting up classes again at Highlands Art League in Sebring. The Art Center classroom building overlooks beautiful Lake Jackson and is a fabulous place for classes. It’s one of three buildings that I helped to save in the early part of this decade.

I’m teaching a beginning class that will run for three weeks, one evening a week. I’m hoping to stir up interest for polymer clay in this little town. We have some talented people here and I’d love to see a pc group form.

If you live close enough or know someone who does, and are interested in the basics of polymer clay, download a flyer here. Highlands Art League Class

I’ve also added general class fee information at the top of the page under the Classes tab.
Individual classes have their own pages.  Or you find the link under my welcome video on the right hand side of this page.

I’m looking forward to teaching again. I hope to add more classes soon.

I took several of my pieces down to Highlands Art League in Sebring, FL and am offering them for sale in The Yellow House gallery/giftshop. The house was built in 1922 by George Sebring. Volunteers spend hours restoring it and now it serves as home to artists and their work and it also houses the office for the art league.

This Friday is the 1st Friday gallery walk at the league and downtown Sebring. The Art League will have three of it’s four buildings open with activities in each one. If you are looking for something to do and are close by, aim your car for Highlands Art League and the circle in downtown Sebring
