Polymer Clay Canes for Beginners

27 videos, step by step, beginner cane workshop beginner Cane Tutorial What people are saying about this tutorial. jennifer rose Just finished this first workshop on how to make canes, and I must say I learned so much. This is exactly what I have been looking for, someone who could explain cane making in a step by step that process that I could replicate. I watched the videos, went into my studio and began to create all of the canes Alice showed. I finally have results I can be proud of, and I say thank you so much for doing this workshop. My only question now is when do we get more workshops. If you are only going to take one online class let it be this workshop. Thank you Alice for your hard work, and your dedication to helping others learn the joys of polymer clay.

As promised, Dora from Dora’s Explorations posted a tutorial for her canes that make up her Zentangle picture shown above. We have both been having fun with the Zentangle canes. I love what she’s done.  View her tutorial here.

Here’s yet another cuff bracelet I made with my zentangle canes today.

I know you don’t believe me, but I am almost finished with my profile face cane tutorial. It should be ready sometime next week. It’s going to be in pdf form as well as a full video showing  you step by step how to construct a profile face cane. It will be available on my Etsy site. If you are signed up for  my newsletter, you will know as soon as I have it ready. If not, stop back often or sign up for the RSS feed.

Have a wonderful week-end everyone.

I’m being patient Alice. I’ve been checking in and reading and doing my catchup as always – secretly searching out if the video is a go yet or not.

Whenever it is done and available – I’ll be there. Card in hand.

I’m chuckling Aims, I keep having to do things that aren’t on my list. And the big thing is to find time to record the video when all is quite here. Long story. But it will be finished next week. Thanks for being such a supporter. I want to have time to read your blog from beginning to end, maybe after the film is finished I will.

  • Alice, it was a pleasure meeting you at the Fandango and look forward to seeing you again. I love the bracelet I purchased and have been eyeing some of your other lovely pieces. You’re a very talented artist and hope to be able to take a class from you in the future.

    Take care,
    Angie

Angie, I was more than thrilled that you bought my bracelet and just as happy to meet you. Wasn’t it great? Sorry it took me so long to respond to your comment, cause I’m really glad you took the time, but I haven’t been on the computer. Can’t wait to put some of the things I’ve learned to work….

Hope you stop in again soon. thanks…..Alice
