Just finished this first workshop on how to make canes, and I must say I learned so much. This is exactly what I have been looking for, someone who could explain cane making in a step by step that process that I could replicate. I watched the videos, went into my studio and began to create all of the canes Alice showed. I finally have results I can be proud of, and I say thank you so much for doing this workshop. My only question now is when do we get more workshops. If you are only going to take one online class let it be this workshop. Girlfriend Bracelet Listed in My Etsy Shop Girlfriends I listed this bracelet in my Etsy Shop today. A funny little bracelet that would make a great gift for a good friend.
I also listed in my Etsy Shop, the girl pin I posted here the other day. These aren’t the only thing I’ve been doing. I’ve been making beads from the canes that I listed yesterday and I’m truly excited, I really like them. What a great bracelet this is Alice! Love the colours and the name!
Question – The bracelet looks 2 dimensional. Do the pieces that stick out catch on things? Would they have a tendency to catch on something and break off? Or are they baked hard enough to hold – even from people who are ‘pickers’?
The dimension doesn’t catch on anything. Everything is down pretty good. I use Permo and it’s not brittle. I wear these all the time with no problem.
